FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Objectives :

· Systematically planning and coordinating new products formulation in order to meet the target deadlines. Formulation development steps include creative formulation development, scaling up, pharmaceutical technology development followed by validation and implementation during production.

Requirements :

· Pharmacist, preference given to candidates with advanced degrees in formulation and/or formulation technology.

· Having an experience of a minimum of a three-year-experience in coordinating formulators (development scientists)

· Experienced in conventional product formulation (tablet, cream, and liquid) and have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of development as well as essential parts that require attention during the process

· Possesses project management skills to ensure timely development process.

· Master pharmaceutical technologies and able to adapt formula to production scale.

· Experienced in working under a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment as well as a tightly controlled-quality assurance to ensure the production of products which meet the quality, safety, and efficacy criteria.

· Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical regulatory requirements needed to produce dossiers that meet pharmaceutical regulations. Knowledge of ICH – CTD/ ASEAN CTD is a plus.

· Creative and Analytical thinking, able to develop alternative solution. General knowledge of marketing, cost accounting and purchasing will help.

· Well proficient in English, able to write procedures and product development documentation.

· Knowledge of Patents and other aspects of Intellectual Property Rights is preferred.
